Decision 23/2019/ QD-TTg was signed by the Prime Minister on June 27, 2019. This Decision prescribes the list of imported goods must do customs clearance at the import border gate.

The latest circular of the Ministry of Finance has been issued and taken effect from October 21, 2019 with amendments to some articles of Circular No. 38/2018/TT- BTC on determining the origin of export and import commodities. The column "Description" in Section III, Annex II in The list of imported goods which need to submit certification of origin to the customs also changed.

To replace for Decree 187/2013/ND-CP, the government has promulgated Decree 69/2018/ND-CP on 15 May, 2018. Basically, this decree also is responsible for guiding foreign trade law implementation, managing international goods trading by import- export activities.

It is obvious to see the big potentials which CPTPP (Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership) bring to Vietnam, especially import-export section. On 26 June 2019, Prime Minister of Vietnam Nguyen Xuan Phuc has signed the Decree No. 57/2019 / ND-CP promulgating the preferential export tariff and special preferential import tariff. Thanks to this Decree, people will have more chances to approach to foreign goods with more reasonable price, import- export enterprises will also take advantages from the import-export tax reduce products.
